How to Clean and Store Sex Toys
A clean toy is a safe toy. Cleaning only takes a minute, and good storage makes toys last much longer.
After every use
Wash with warm water and mild unscented soap, or a toy cleaner. Rinse well and dry with a clean towel or let it air dry.
By material
Silicone, glass and steel can be washed well, and many can be boiled for a few minutes. Check that the toy is not electronic first. TPE and TPR are porous, so wash them gently and use a condom.
Electronics
Only waterproof toys can go under water. For anything else, wipe with a damp cloth and let it dry.
Storage
Keep toys dry, in a cloth bag or their own box. Do not let silicone toys touch each other, because they can stick or degrade.
